Welcome to juggling! This one-time class “Learning to Juggle” will assume no juggling experience and will focus on the beginning toss and practicing good tossing habits. Learning how to juggle is a great way to build self esteem for young students and practice good hand eye coordination. The class will be structured so that I will demonstrate each technique and then give students time practicing so I can give input and suggestions for improvement. All that’s needed is a positive attitude and three juggling balls!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Doctoral Degree in Science from Rutgers University
For over 25 years I have taught science in some context to elementary, middle, secondary, and college students. I have taught science education courses in a teacher education program and have even taught pre-K and Kindergarten science. I have always strived to make my class interesting and fun for students and I have applied that approach to all of my online science classes. I have taught online classes for middle school students (chemistry, microbiology, and physics) as well as classes for elementary students. My classes include interesting demonstrations for students, occasional humor, as well as content that aligns to NGSS standards. I am also the author of the Dr. Dave’s Science Teaching Manuals, a series of instructional manuals for elementary, middle-school and secondary science teachers.
