US Grade 2 - 5
In this course students will journey around the United States of America discovering major landforms, natural wonders, national parks, rivers, lakes, statues, monuments, recipes, and the capital of each state. Every week a PowerPoint presentation with videos', games, songs, and hands-on projects will be used to teach students about each of the 50 states. This is an interactive course and group discussion is encouraged. After each class supplemental materials will be provided for continued learning. Students will be provided with a book of states that they will use to document their progress. This course provides a year's worth of United States geography beginning the week of January 1st and ending the week of December 14th . The course will then repeat.
