Students will gain a better understanding of the job interview process. You will learn the job interview process from start to finish to help you prepare for your own Adulting journey! This course includes what employers are looking for in quality employees, how to prepare for the interview by studying up on the industry, company, and the position applied for, interview basics on dressing for success, using proper speech, and knowing how to act during the interview, questions that are commonly asked, how to answer open-ended questions, resources to check out, and finally, following up after the interview so they remember you.  

I loved teaching Interview Skills as part of my Business Management Administration class. We made it fun and the students gave positive feedback on their experiences. I have also been on a variety of multiple interview panels to hire other employees for our organization.

Homework Offered
No formal homework, but learners will be encouraged to watch real examples of actual interviews online to pick out what was done well and what could use improvement, talk to individuals in an industry they are interested in, and research common interview questions and practice answering them to better prepare.
