🎓TEACHING STYLE🎓 
Dr. Elliott uses the hands on approach to learning, each student will construct program and run to see if it execute properly. 💻

In this JavaScript Semester long class in will learn all of the concepts of the JavaScript programming language.
The final two day we will create a game using JavaScript.
In addition, 72% of companies looked for JavaScript developers, proving just how sought after and valuable this skill is. 
This is also the language that employers test for the most, so it's a great tool for any developer to add to their repertoire. Even if you haven't got your heart set on a tech career, being proficient in this language will enable you to build websites from scratch—a pretty useful skill to have in today's job market!

FIRST HALF
Introduction to Variables /(Day one)
Basic data types (Day two)
Objects /(Day two, three & four)
Introduction to HTML/ (Day five, six and seven )
 If statements/(Day eight)

SECOND HALF
Loops /(Day nine)
Functions/(Day ten)
JQuery/ (Day eleven, twelve, thirteen & /fourteen )
Object-Oriented programming /(Day fifteen & sixteen)
Introducing canvas Element/(Day seventeen)
Animation techniques /(Day eighteen)
Completing the snake using everything we have learned /(Day nineteen & twenty)

We will start at the beginners level and end in the advance level.
Students will be able to interact with me 100% of the class.

*Note* As a learner, it is imperative that we maintain an environment that is conducive to learning. Please rise your hand to be acknowledged, no blurting out!
* Remember, unlike other languages that can be used in a web browser, JavaScript doesn't need to be downloaded .

Parental Guidance
We will be utilizing your web browser to run Java Script.
Supply List
All the learner will need is a web browser like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome. Every web browser comes with a JavaScript interpreter that understands how to read JavaScript programs.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

My experience and training in Java  was obtained during my undergraduate years of Computer Science. I also teach Python programming language on this platform( complete by 190 learners) with a 4.5 rating. In, addition I taught coding at a private school here in Georgia for two years (Ages - 9-17).  I am also a licensed certified educator in the field of Engineering/Technology!
