I have been taking weekly Japanese language classes for the past four years. I am not a native speaker and therefore have a mid-eastern American accent. However, I was encouraged by my teacher (Yoshino Sensi) to teach Japanese. All of my classes are basic Japanese skills for beginners. I enjoy the language and learning about Japanese culture. My three children have also been taking Japanese classes for the past four years. We often play memory games and practice speaking with each other in Japanese.
