This class will focus on Japanese conversation. We'll have a new topic every week to discuss, and to talk about with our classmates and the teacher. The 45 minutes will be spent on discussing different topics, and forming our opinions about these topics. As the teacher, I will help students out with forming their thoughts, and how they can execute it if they are struggling. This class is geared towards intermediate learners, who have previous knowledge in Japanese, and can form simple sentences. Every week will be a different conversation topic and students are welcomed to pitch in their ideas for topics as well. 4/8: Favorites (food, hobbies, etc) 4/15: Would you rather? (would you rather wear bright color clothes or black and white clothes for the rest of your life?) 4/22: Favorite thing in your room! 4/29: What was the last thing that made you laugh out loud?

The learning goal is to improve conversations by speaking and listening more, and actively being engaged with the others.

Hi, my name is Megumi and I offer different types of Japanese classes. Hopefully you'll find a class that fits you if you're interested in learning the language. I'm a native Japanese speaker, so I hope to bring you an authentic Japanese experience. I have been tutoring/teaching for about 5 years now, and I've had the pleasure of meeting many different students over the years. They've taught me that everyone has a different goal in learning languages, and became the reason I've decided to offer different classes from different angles.
I value that every student is different and I want to make sure my teaching can fit everyone's needs. No matter if you're shy, outgoing, etc, I want to make sure that we can all enjoy the lesson.
Some fun facts about me, I like drawing, sketching, painting, and watching comedy and crime shows (Law and Order SVU, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Friends, The Office, Criminal Minds, etc). If we have any of these in common, I hope I get to talk to you about them! Reviews
