In this ongoing social club, learners will meet weekly to play the wildly unpredictable and entertaining online party game, Jackbox Party Pack. What is so great about this game, is that only one person needs to own it (me), while all other participants only require a smartphone, tablet, or computer (with an internet connection) to be able to participate. 

There are several iterations of the Jackbox Party Pack, each with a wide variety of trivia and other interactive games to choose from. In other words, there is plenty of content for learners to enjoy playing. 

Joining a game is incredibly simple. All you need to do is head over to the website, jackbox.tv on whichever device you are using and type in the 4-letter code which will be visible on my shared screen from Zoom. 

Finally, learners should understand that there are a lot of random elements to the Jackbox Party Pack games, and so losing rounds will be inevitable. Please try to maintain a positive attitude and be respectful of others whether you win or lose!

Parental Guidance

From the Jackbox website: All of the Jackbox Party Pack iterations are rated T for Teen by the ESRB, and most of their games have a 'Family-Friendly Filter' in their Settings menu. With the Family-Friendly Filter enabled, the game is closer to an E10+ rating.

Hi, my name is Vaughn! I am from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I love spending time with my 1-year-old son, my wife, Ms. Kait and our cat, Milo. 🐈‍⬛
While completing my bachelor's degree, I began teaching ESL online in 2019. Since then, I have branched out to the wonderfully diverse Outschool platform. 
The thing I love about Outschool is that I can teach about the things I am truly passionate about, which include video games, anime, pop culture, and guitar. I always aim to find the best ways to engage my learners so that they will have an exciting and memorable learning experience. 💫

Hello, I'm Ms. Kait! I have been teaching online for 6 years, predominantly focusing on English as a Second Language. Recently, I transitioned to hosting gaming classes and I couldn't be more excited about it! As a lover of games like Zelda, Roblox, and Mario Party, I believe in creating a safe and engaging environment for all kids to learn in.
