US Grade Kindergarten - 3
Why do we celebrate Veteran's Day?  Who are Veterans? What do they do? Veterans and other People, Places and Events help to create the  American Heritage. Join Aunt Sam as we read, discuss, sing and celebrate the unique history of the "noble free."   We'll do a variety of activities to celebrate American's Freedom and Memorial Day. We'll read Patriotic Picture Books like "The Star-Spangled Banner," sing some Patriotic Songs, 
discuss why Poppies are symbolic for Veterans and MORE!  

This U.S. Veteran's Day, let's discuss specific brave men and women, who have fought for Freedom. Do you know a Veteran? What does your family do Veteran's Day? Let's share. Color while you learn and share with the class.
