Learners practice conversational English to successfully accomplish the three "C's" - comprehension, communication and confidence. Perfect for learners beginning to speak English or know English and want to improve their conversational skills.

Ever been in a class where you can just talk, talk, talk? That's how "It's Talk Time - ESL Conversations in English" is designed. Learners will engage in conversation in English to learn English, learn how to speak in English, learn how to carry on a conversation in English with a native English-speaking Teacher. Whether learner needs to learn English or improve their English, all skill levels are welcomed.

The goal of "It's Talk Time - ESL Conversations in English" is to help each learner accomplish the three "C's":
💬 Comprehension - understand the basics of the English language through speaking it
💬 Communication - active participation to build every day vocabulary, correct sentence structure, grammar and pronunciation
💬 Confidence - build confidence to speak with other learners and Teacher in a comfortable, casual small group class-like encouraging environment

Learners will engage in a topic for the week, be able to ask and answer questions, learn common phrases, idioms, give their opinion on a topic or subject, converse back-and-forth with each other, use prompts, sing, move [movement], draw and participate in different games and activities. Learners will do a little writing, too, their name, the alphabet, numbers, vocabulary words, phrases, maybe even sentences depending on the learners' skill level. This class is designed to be interactive, fun and engaging.

The best way to learn English is to talk, talk, talk, to use it and that's just what learners will do in "It's Talk Time - ESL Conversations in English."

SPECIAL NOTE TO PARENTS: This class is appropriate for learners who are able to participate in the entire class independently. 🙋🏽‍♀️ 🙋🏻‍♂️ Parents must remain off camera. 🙋🏽‍♀️Learners should be able to participate in the entire 25 minute sessions 🙋🏻‍♂️Learners should eat, drink before coming to class 🙋🏽‍♀️Learners should use the bathroom BEFORE class begins 🙋🏻‍♂️Learners should have some language skills *** Learners who are shy and well behaved may participate, even sitting and listening until comfortable to speak, sing and participate in movement activities.
