Class Experience

It's okay to make mistakes! Sometimes, we can even learn from them! This class will be very interactive and students will be encouraged to participate in the discussion. We will begin the class with introductions and brief discussion to allow students time to socialize. After some time of discussion, we will enjoy a song about how everyone makes mistakes, and that's okay! Then, I will read the book, "Help Your Dragon Learn From Mistakes" by Steven Herman.  I have taught in a kindergarten classroom for over 10 years and worked with children of all ages. I have many years of experience working with children as they experience many different emotions not only in the classroom, but for my 6 children at home as well.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
