Class Experience

Come along to learn Italian for fun, education, or to prepare for an Italian trip!

This is a 30-minute, weekly (ongoing) course for learning beginner's Italian vocabulary and basic conversation skills specifically for siblings, friends, or cousins in private lessons setting for more one-on-one learning or learning for specific goals.

Message before class your goals in learning Italian (for a trip, for fun, etc.) and verify your student's Italian level to be a beginner and if they have had any exposure to Italian or if this will be their first time.

Weekly Schedule is learner-directed based on goals and their pace. Topics can include greetings, basic conversation skills, foods, colors, clothes, etc. in Italian.

Teaching Style: I'll be sharing my screen for learners to see the print-offs while we learn the words together in order for learners to visually and audibly be able to learn as pictures and reviewing help to solidify new words in learning a language. I'll pronounce it and then you'll repeat, and we'll review during class and also the next few classes to make sure you feel confident in the new vocabulary.
We will be using Italian for everyone Junior book so that each week students build on their vocabulary of the Italian language.

Parental Guidance
Sometimes I will show short YouTube videos in class to reinforce what we are learning. The links are sometimes posted in the classroom to review with. Students will not need a YouTube account. Sometimes I will give out a Quizlet as optional homework to review vocabulary. When these are given, if students want to play the games on Quizlet, they will need a free account created by their parent or legal guardian for them to use.
Supply List
Printables will be in the classroom after class.
