The goal of this class is to get students interested in learning Italian with a sneak-peek 2-day course or to help them have something to do in Italian (to keep up with it) before their Italian classes start in January.
In high school, I was only offered Spanish. I believe that taking foreign language classes opens the doors to many opportunities. My love for languages has continued to grow and at university, I took Italian. I now give students the opportunity to learn a language that they are interested in and make learning fun. I have even been known to take facts and put them into a tune to help memorize them easier!
Homework is optional
Students will be given paper crafts to print out and coloring sheets.
No quizzes or tests
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
