Welcome! I'm glad you are here. Please read the description carefully so that you may ensure that this class is a good fit for your learner. This class is an ongoing preparatory course for either the ISEE and SSAT (tests are extremely similar and both have an unscored essay). CLASS STRUCTURE This class is ongoing. Students can enter and leave at any time. Topics do not build. I encourage all new learners and/or parents to message me with some information/learning goals for the student. I am also happy to send the previous week's homework. There is an homework assignment scheduled after every class in which I will provide feedback. ***This class only covers the English section, not the Math section.*** During each 60 minute lesson, students will practice vocabulary, reading, and writing skills. All content is directly applicable to these specific tests. Guidelines, tips, and tricks are also covered as well. MISSED CLASSES If your student misses a class, a recording will always be accessible on the classroom page. The Google Slides notes are always available as well. The weekly assignments will also be posted for the student. Note: If your student is not able to attend in person, refunds will not be issued. This is because the student can still access the materials, recording, and receive grades for assignments. If you need to miss a class or several and do not want to be billed, you can pause your subscription. CLASS SCHEDULE 1. Welcome/Go over schedule 2. Vocabulary New Words 3. Analogies 4.
