Welcome Parents and Students,
Thank you for taking the time to explore my courses! Let me tell you a little bit about myself and the courses I teach on Outschool. I am a mother of 3 amazing kids and a professionally certified science teacher.
As an undergraduate, I studied marine science and hold a masters degree in science education. My teaching experience ranges from the formal high school classroom to outdoor education programs.
Marine science education is my passion in teaching and my area of expertise. I have designed and delivered marine science educational content to students of all ages through recreation and homeschool co-ops.
I have created my Outschool courses to be integrated and student centered. I believe that this allows students to make connections with the content in a way that is relative to their lives. Below you will find a more detailed description of my curriculum structure and operating procedures. If you have any questions about the courses I teach or my methodology, please feel free to contact me! I love connecting with new families!
When I am not teaching on Outschool, I teach high school marine science in Florida. For fun, I enjoy beachcombing and camping adventures with my husband and kids. .
I look forward to seeing you in class!
