In this intro to violin class, students will learn the parts of the violin bow and violin and be able to describe what they do.

Waiting for your violin to come in or just interested in learning about the parts of the violin & bow? This class is for you! No prior knowledge (or instrument) is needed! All of the parts of the violin and the bow will be taught. From the button to the scroll, and from the frog to the tip, students will learn how and why all of the parts function and do what they do to make the violin and bow work! A worksheet will be provided for students to label as we go through the different parts....
Students will know all the parts of the bow and violin and be able to describe how they work.
1 file available upon enrollmentA one-page worksheet will be provided for students to fill in the blanks as they go through the class. Pencil Violin, Bow or other Violin Accessories (Completely Optional!)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
