In this class, your learner will learn the key basics of learning Spanish. *Each week your learner will receive: Multiple lesson videos - video of vocabulary list- day one of each week - video of grammar rules- day three of each week - worksheets for practice- day three of each week - link to a review game - day five of each week -a quiz to see how well your learner has grasped the information- day five of each week Below is the breakdown of each week. By the last week, your learner will be able to put all the concepts together to start reading and writing in Spanish. You are always free to turn in the completed assignments to receive grades and feedback on them. Week 1 - Spanish articles - we will go over all the articles in Spanish and the rules for using them. - Pronouns- we will learn the Spanish pronouns so that we can replace nouns in sentences Week 2 - The verb Ser - we will learn about all the rules of when to use this verb - The verb Estar- we will learn about all the rules of when to use this verb - Greetings/ Introductions Week 3 - Verb conjugations- we are going to learn how to change all the verb types in the present tense; regular and irregular verbs -Gerund expressions- expressing doing an action in real-time Week 4 - Question words- we will learn all the question words - Possessives- we will learn different ways of showing possessions of items in Spanish Week 5 - Based on all the information learned in previous weeks - Writing exercises - Reading exercises *Each lesson is originally made by the teacher.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
We will be using Kahoot and Google Forms in the class. The teacher will not have any access to your learner's private information. Kahoot will only be used as a review tool of what we have learned by playing the game link provided. No sign-in is required to access the Kahoot games. Google Forms will be used for the assessments about the lessons. There will not be any collection of emails on the Forms.
