Introduction To Shuffle Dancing
In this 60 minute introduction to shuffle dancing class, students will learn the basic moves to shuffle dancing. We will stretch, practice, and then I will introduce some choreography. Please keep reading to go over safety precautions.

Beginner Level
In this 60 minute class students will spend approximately 10 minutes of stretching, 20 minutes of learning the basic moves of shuffle dancing, and 30 minutes of applying what they have learned to choreography. I will demonstrate how to do all of the footwork and verbally walk students through each step. We will begin at a slower pace and pick up the speed. I intend to incorporate mindfulness techniques and positive encouragement throughout the entirety of the class. Please allow up to approximately 48 business hours to receive feedback to any questions or concerns that you have.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the importance of stretching.
Students will learn the basic moves to shuffle dancing such as the running man, charleston, t-step, and w-step.

Learning Needs
Dancing is a great way for people with ADHD or ASD to release energy and regulate their nervous systems.
Parental Guidance
It is important to supervise your learner during this class. We will be doing a fast-paced style of dance so it is essential that an adult is there in case any accidents or injuries occur. All learners will need to have water, supportive shoes, and enough space to move freely.
