This course teaches beginners how to read sheet music for piano through three video lessons. Students will learn piano key names, rhythm basics, and how to read notes on the staff, culminating in the ability to play three simple songs.

Lesson 2: Introduction to Rhythm and Note Values
• Understanding the concept of rhythm in music • Introduction to time signatures • Exploring different note values: - Quarter notes - Half notes - Whole notes • Basic counting exercises • Simple rhythm reading practice

Lesson 3: Reading Notes on the Staff
• Introduction to the musical staff • Understanding clefs: Treble and Bass • Identifying notes on the staff • Correlating staff notation with piano keys • Practice exercises for note recognition • Introduction to ledger lines

• Skilled pianist with RCM exam experience
• Proficient in music production and songwriting
