In this class I will cover the very beginning stages of learning the piano. I will start the class by assessing if any student has any prior knowledge of piano, and from there I will work with them to better their understanding of how to read music and basic music theory! As the class progresses, I will provide higher level learning for those continually interested. Students in a class with multiple attendees will be able to interact with flashcard games, and possible discussions. I want to be as available as possible for any questions, so questions are very welcome during class! Classes are learner dictated depending on where students are at in their learning. However, a basic structure (open to change depending on studnets) is: Week of Jan 16: What is the piano and how it works Week of Jan 23: How to find notes Week of Jan 30: Location notes on the piano Week February 6: Practice and Begin learning how to read notes
