I am offering this course because the number one feedback I get from former students is "I wish I would have payed more attention to medical terminology". It truly is the basis for all things healthcare related. Understanding the meaning of these terms early on will make future coursework easier as well as prepare students for their healthcare careers.

As a Registered Nurse, learning medical terminology in high school helped me with my success at the post secondary level. I feel that personal experience as well as professional experience in education make this course extremely important to me.
