Class Experience

During this class, students will learn and practice the proportions of facial features and how to draw them, answering questions about where they should be on the face and how big. We will have a bit more focus on the details of the eyes, including the iris, pupil, lids, and lashes. We will also learn how to draw the head and hair, touching on shading and light sources in the process. In this introduction, we will be practicing portraits of faces from a straight-on gaze and not looking at perspective drawing.
