Hieroglyphs, heiratic, demotic, oh my! In this one-time course, you will learn about the ways the ancient Egyptians wrote their language. This class will mainly focus on the hieroglyphic alphabetic signs and determinatives, but other scripts will be discussed in comparison. By the end of this informative, interactive hour, each student will know how to write their name in hieroglyphics and will be able to explain the difference between different types of hieroglyphs. If you like this class, I hope to see you in my Ancient Egyptian Language and Literature class!
