Introduction to French - Level 5 - Flexible

Please note that in order to register for this class, you must have completed my Level 4 class or requested an assessment. This is to ensure student success and enjoyment! This is a flexible class. No live meetings will be held.

Hello friends and welcome! 

I am excited to continue learning French with you. Level 5 turns our focus back to conversation, as we run through a variety of scenarios and create our own conversation in the form of a comic strip. 

Homework will be a combination of written and video assignments. I will always reply by video to your video submissions, with feedback on pronunciation and progress. Students will also practice their vocabulary skills with each other in the Outschool classroom by posting video introductions (in French), playing games together, asking for and giving directions to one another, and writing and asking each other comprehension questions.

Week 2 - Formalities in French conversation
Week 3 - Giving directions/instructions
Week 4 - French comic strips
Week 5 - Asking the right questions: review of interrogative sentences
Week 6 - Different conversational scenarios: shopping, school, movies, etc.
Week 7 - Conversational scenarios continued
Week 8 - Review week, and final presentations
