1-2 hours per week. Students will need to submit videos to the teacher. They might require parental assistance to film these videos. I will also assign worksheets that will need to be scanned and sent to me as well. As with Level 1, please allow 3-5 business days for a reply to your homework.Class Experience
In order to complete this class please ensure that you have completed my Level 1 class, or request an assessment by sending me a private message if you have previous French language experience. Learning a new language can be intimidating; this class aims to make language learning fun and put students at ease in order to create the perfect learning environment at their own pace. J’espère de vous voir en classe! (I hope to see you in class!) Students will be guided through a variety of vocabulary with videos that I have been pre-recorded, along with games, flashcards, songs and much more. Students will also receive access to the PowerPoint presentations used in class. Homework will be a combination of written and video assignments. For example, students will be asked to record and post a video introduction, in French. I also ask that audio recordings be posted regularly so that I can check on pronunciation. Students will learn basic vocabulary including numbers, colors, greetings etc. Together we will travel to Quebec and France and use our new vocabulary with locals (through the magic of the internet, no airfare required).
