Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 6
Beginner Level
In this one time class, students will learn what economics is and explore some basic economic terms and ideas while playing fun games using those terms. We will also have discussions about how economics affects our daily lives.

Learn about goods and services while playing a game of Connect Four! Play "Name that Price" to understand supply and demand. We'll discuss what factors of production you would need to consider if you started your own business and also why macroeconomics is important to our world.

I love making learning fun through games and conversation. I encourage all students to join class discussions, but respect students' choice to not speak. I look forward to having your student in my class!

Learning Goals

The goal of this class is to give students a basic understanding of economics so they have the knowledge to speak with others about economics in our world. A second goal is to inspire students to become interested and excited about learning more about economics. The final and most important goal is to have fun!
