I have been a Dungeons and Dragons gamemaster for many years, both for adults and for children. I love creating unique scenarios that are not only fun but which challenge students in their ability to problem-solve and work together as a team.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Dungeons and Dragons is an open-world scenario in which students may choose to battle, avoid, or even befriend monsters. If there is any concern about this, please reach out to me and I will be happy to accommodate any concerns regarding this (e.g., instead of monsters, students will only have to problem-solve in non-combat scenarios.)
We will refer to the following: *Basic Rules for Dungeons and Dragons: https://dnd.wizards.com/what-is-dnd/basic-rules * Owlbear Rodeo for the virtual tabletop: https://www.owlbear.rodeo/ * Google Docs to share handouts (images, items, etc.) * www.dndbeyond.com for character creation and rules reference * The Player's Handbook (a virtual version is free for the students to use, since I am a licensed educator with DND Beyond)
Please note: I am currently taking a break from Outschool due to other work commitments. Classes Offered: * Global History Voyagers: Uncover the past through exciting historical quests. * Yoga for Peak Fitness: Discover the mind-body connection...
