Beginner Level
In this one-time, 50-minute adventure, your child will investigate four unusual mammals: the platypus, the echidna, the kangaroo, the koala and the bat, their physical characteristics, their behavior, and their habitats. Students will be amazed by the animals' physical characteristics, discuss their unique behaviors, and even explore their habitats. Class will be a teacher presentation - class discussion format which will include slides, discussion, video clips, games and more. My teaching style embraces the child's natural curiosity which can lead to extended learning as we indulge uninhibited thought and questions. No prior knowledge required for this class, but any the learner brings, is welcomed! And this class will prepare your student for the Awe-mazing Animals Adventure Camp.
