Description
Class Experience
The goal of this course is to introduce learners to the idea of story arcs, the way arcs have appeared throughout storytelling history, and how as writers, they can either use or defy story arc traditions in their writing.
While I have redesigned this class for a variety of age groups, I originally taught this crash course to adult writers, many of whom ultimately used it to write stories and novels that were later published.
While this course has no assigned homework, I encourage learner to continue working on the stories they start in class and, if they would like, they can send me those stories for feedback after the course.
Learners simply need a writing tool, whether pen or paper or a word processor, whichever makes them more comfortable.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
