Class Experience

Come blast off with us and explore the planets! Students will learn about the eight planets in our Solar System! Students will also learn about more space objects such as asteroids, the Sun, etc. Students will learn about the planets through media, poem, songs, games, mnemonics, class discussion, and more! There is no background knowledge needed for this class. There will not be any homework given, however students will be given songs, mnemonics, and a poem to help them memorize the order of the planets so they will need to practice. Students will also be given a blank coloring sheet of the planets and will color code it for memory uses. Students learning progress will be evaluated by classroom discussion, games, and participation in class.
