Class Experience

Beginner Level
In this 2-day course, students will learn about music theory including how to read music in both the treble clef and bass clef, rhythm, and dynamics. We will practice everything learned in class both inside and outside of class for understanding and reinforcement.

This class is great for students who have completed "The ABCs of Music: Intro to Music Theory" course OR for students who already have a basic understanding of music theory.

Day 1: Intro to the staff, treble clef
Day 2: Bass clef, rhythm, dynamics
Day 3: Review of bass clef and treble clef, more rhythm!

I am a patient and energetic teacher that teaches this course in a fun and engaging manner. Students are sure to learn a lot about music during this week and realize just how much fun learning about music is! I have over 10 years of teaching experience and hold a Master of Music and Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. I am passionate about teaching music and I can't wait to meet your learner!
