US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
Are you looking for a fun, interactive way to teach your young child the basics of math? Look no further! This class will offer the basics of mathematics in a fun, eye-opening way. I have been tutoring mathematics since 2014. In this class we will practice the numbers 0-10. I will teach the students how the numbers look and how to write the numbers. We will learn to add and subtract basic numbers with a 10-frame that we make during class, using bugs that the students can cut out and color...
Students will learn the beginning basics of math. They will be able to count and write to 10, as well as adding and subtracting using a 10-frame that we will make during class.
I have been a math tutor since 2014. I have a degree in Child Development so I understand how a child thinks and their attention span, especially towards a tougher subject, such as math. I try to make it as fun and educational as I can. I have taught over 1500 online classes on various platforms.
Homework Offered
We will do most of the projects in class. The student will need paper and a pencil, or a whiteboard. I will ask you to print off some items before class starts and cut them out/color them. There will be a few extra math equations I will send home for extra practice.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
The learners will be assessed throughout the class by making sure they can recognize and count their numbers, complete their project, and be able to help add and subtract their bugs and other objects.Grades Offered
The student will be asked to print out a few work pages before the start of class. If a printer is not available, you are welcome to draw it by hand. Scissors Crayons Pencil/paper OR whiteboard
