Welcome back to the awesome sequel of our "Intro to Historical Research" adventure! 🕵️♂️📚 In this cool course, we're diving deeper into history and supercharging our writing skills to avoid tricky mistakes! 📅 Week one: Let's kick things off together! We'll team up to create an introduction that grabs attention. We'll start with a super catchy opening sentence and come up with a main idea called a "thesis." Remember, before our next meeting, make sure you've done some research and bring a draft of your introduction. 📅 Week two: Time to polish that introduction! We'll check your work and fix any mistakes. Then, it's time to make a plan for the main parts of your paper called "body paragraphs." You'll need a completed plan before our next session. 📅 Week three: Exciting times ahead! We'll look at your plan and make it even better. Then, it's time to start writing those body paragraphs! Get ready to use your imagination and write outside of class. 📅 Week four: Hooray! We're finishing up those body paragraphs and fixing any little mistakes. We'll also talk about common mistakes to avoid. After that, it's onto the conclusion part of your paper. Make sure you've started a draft of your conclusion for our next meeting. 📅 Week five: The finish line is getting closer! We'll take a look at your conclusion and make it awesome. Then, it's time to check the entire paper to make sure it makes sense and flows nicely. We'll also learn how to show where you found your information using Chicago style. Bring a draft of where you found your sources. 📅 Week six: We're almost there! Let's double-check those little notes and where you got your information. If we have time, we'll give the whole paper one more look to make sure it's totally ready to go! 👍🔍 Join us on this incredible journey through history where we'll write fantastic stories about the past and become experts in avoiding writing oopsies! 🚀📝
