This is an introductory class to basic Ballet steps and terminology. Ideal for students who: -Have developed an interest in dance later in childhood -Want to try out dance before committing to in person classes -Have an interest in theatre and need to learn dance basics -Desire to expand cultural and artistic expression Class Structure: -Introductions/expectations -Stretching -Basic steps and terminology -Combination set -Q & A Learners are encouraged to get up and participate in this class with the teacher, as learning of this kind works best when we involve our bodies AND our minds! Requirements: -Open space (we can be creative here) -Sturdy table or chair to use as a barre for balance -NO ATTIRE REQUIREMENTS (I encourage comfortable clothing).
