Learners may take information learned and research specific companies or schools to discuss in class.Class Experience
Learners will learn about tips and tricks for a successful interview. We will focus on the importance of researching the company/school, in person and video tips, how to dress and how to answer certain questions. Each class will cover a different topic to help prepare students for their interview. As a Human Resource Professional, I will use my experiences in guiding learners as to what companies are looking for in a candidate. First class: We will focus on first steps to any interview process. What do I do first? How do I apply? Do I have a Resume? (If learner does not have a resume, we will create one. If they do, we will review and update key words) Second class: Guidance on questions that will be asked in an interview and practice answering with confidence. The key in following up with interviewer. This is an inclusive class in which students of all abilities are welcome. If a student is unable to communicate verbally they are welcome to use the chat. If your student has any other needs that require accommodations please let me know and we will work develop a way for your learner to participate in a way that they are able.

Mrs. V holds a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management and Communications from UMUC. As a Human Resource Professional, Mrs. V has over 20 years of experience in talent search, recruitment, interviewing and training and development. She has worked with Middle School and High School students in the areas of general studies and career and college advising since 2014.
