This class is intended for students who already have knowledge of Spanish.The class is directed to continue with the knowledge of the Spanish language studied in the class "Intermediate to Advanced Spanish", but IS NOT a requirement that needs to be completed before students can access this course "Intermediate to Advanced Spanish II" , since in this class "Intermediate to Advanced Spanish II" we will study new subjects ALSO of the Intermediate level. After completing this course the students will have improved their communication through the use of increased vocabulary, more detailed descriptions and the ability to give and recognize orders, instructions and addresses. Also through this classes, they will increase the depth of their Spanish abilities by learning other tenses and new grammatical structures. When you get to finish this level you can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. As well you can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst traveling in an area where the language is spoken. Furthermore, you can produce simple connected text on topics that are familiar or of personal interest. * The first week the students will learn how to refer to actions or situations of the past. Express intentions, conditions and objectives. Corroborate or deny a third party statement. Ask others to do something. Offer and ask for help. Accept it and reject it. *The second week the students will learn how to express and ask if something is known or something or someone is known. Formulate hypothesis. Apologize for something you have done and react to an apology. *The third week the students will learn how to ask about someone's mood or health. Ask about the form of treatment and propose the "tuteo". Enter a topic or opinion. *The fourth week the students will have a Review of the previous contents. During the four week the student will see the next grammatical content: . Extension of direct and indirect object. . Placement of pronouns. . Past. Future . Indefinite and Imperfect Alternation. . General uses of POR and PARA . Adjectives and indefinite pronouns. . The perfect preterite. . Alternation between Indefinite and Perfect. . The Past Plusperfect. . Introduction to the relative. Materials: All lesson and homework materials will be provided by the course instructor. Students will have access to the course syllabus once enrolled.
