Students are encouraged to ask for poses and anything else they want more help with if there is extra time. Additional items done with extra time include animals, accessories. Clips from anime shows will be shown ages g-pg13 to talk about the art within the show this will not take up too much of class time. The clips are NOT inappropriate. I'm happy to describe what they are to you, it's just full disclosure so parents know before looking them up.

Students are welcome to ask for help drawing anything within the instructor's ability!

Please note the artist will use Photoshop to show examples and draw digitally. Students MAY use any digital drawing app if they like. It's not necessary, paper and pencil work just as well. Students in my other classes have still been able to keep up. Session content may change due to student questions.

Images in class picture may not be done in session. Style may vary.

Students in this class often prefer quiet for focus. Talk is definitely encouraged! If your child is muted and camera off (which I offer after video confirmation) I'll assume they don't want to talk. Chat is ok to be used if they want to talk. If you are looking for your child to be engaged in communication with the instructor more, please let the instructor know.

Parental Guidance
If your child is age 8 and below and struggled to keep up in the intro course. Take caution that this course may be too quick, if they didn't they should be ok. The recordings will be available if needed, please direct message because recording requests don't work. If you cannot attend a class, please reach out, a recording or rescheduling may be possible. If the class minimum is not met you may request private tutoring at my tutoring rate. Or you can join anime bodies, session 1 so you can get the intermediate experience in a different format. Please message me for an explanation of this. Please encourage your child to share their work, i regularly ask, but i do not like to put pressure on students. I will let you know if sharing does not occur.

Hi, my name is Lori Esposito, I graduated from the School of Visual Arts and earned my BA in Cartooning. Additionally, I am a M.A. certified school counselor and ready to adapt to all learning needs! I teach art and socio-emotional development with children of all ages. I have tutored and taught groups of children ages Pk-8 for six years. I have 30 graduate art education credits at Brooklyn College and open to giving critique to students who need it, as well as portfolio help.

It is important to me to get feedback from children and parents because there is always room for improvement. I value the ideas children have and I always seek to give them the comfort and confidence they need to be independent.

I love painting, drawing, comics, clay art, visiting museums, gardening, cooking, and reading. I thank all the parents who take my classes for trusting me with your children!
