Over the last seven years, I have taught Criminal Justice classes to students from ages 14-18. This one day information class will help educate older students that are considering the field of Law Enforcement. We will cover the process of getting hired, the police academy, the ranks within a department, job opportunities, and so much more. I will also give several examples of calls I responded to during my twenty-four year law enforcement career, such as: Accidents I worked, SWAT Team responses, funny calls, and more. We will also talk about what students know and want from this career. There will be a question and answer session at the end so hopefully you will get a basic understanding of what this career entails.
