In this course we will use a set of dice to 'Roll-A-Story' about a different scenario every week. From Minecraft to Marvel to Underwater Adventure, there's no telling what we might get into!  A roll of the dice will determine character, setting, and problem. After the three rolls learners will be given a set amount of time to write that story, then we'll start over!

I believe choice is vital in creating life-long writers. However, too much choice is overwhelming. This course strikes the perfect balancing with a fun topic of choice, and a hands-on way to determine the plot. 

Younger learners may elect to write comics instead of word-heavy narratives, and that is encouraged! This course focuses on the thinking work behind the writing, which is the same for comics and written works.
