In this single class students will be introduced to punctuation marks and practice finding, identifying and using punctuation marks through the use of games.
Class experience
US Grade 1 - 4
In this class students will learn about punctuation marks. Students will learn that punctuation is a tool that allows us to organize our thoughts and make it easier when we are sharing our ideas. We will learn about: Period Comma Question mark Exclamation mark Quotation Possibly a few others (e.g colon and semi- colon if time permits) This class will be game based.
This class is taught in English.
Learners will identify emotions on cue cards and throughout a story. Learners will be able to identify emotions on the teacher and other students through exaggerated facial features and sound cues.
I have taught many students in a variety of settings from school to residential. I currently teach ESL online as well as tutor privately. I have experience teaching emotions through my child and youth worker experiences I have over 20 years of experience working with children and helping them to identify their emotions.
Homework Offered
Worksheets and activities will be provided if the learner wishes to complete after class.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class

All learners are welcome.
I will provide a template for students to print if they wish to make puppets. The paper will be cut into squares, and the learners can tape or glue, the squares onto popsicle sticks or pencils or plastic spoons, if desired.
