Come and learn about the insects that live in the Amazon Rainforest! The Amazon is one of the most biodiverse places on Earth and when you zoom in close to the insect world there it is no different. In this class, we discuss, with the help of a slideshow, the groups of insects and unique species that live in the Amazon. A specific species of ant, bee, dragonfly, mosquito, butterfly, beetle, firefly are included. There will be a question ticket at the end of class that can be answered in chat or a google form before we discuss the questions. If you have any questions, please send me a message. Hello! My name is Ms. C. I am so excited to see you in my Outschool classroom! I offer many classes related to dogs, wildlife, science, reading, and writing. I love teaching topics from the beautiful animals here on Earth to the gorgeous stars in the sky. I love incorporating reading, art and science all together. I have my Associate’s degree in Animal Science, Associate’s degree in Elementary Education, and my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Middle Dual Education with a specialization in Science. I am a certified teacher, and I am currently a substitute teacher and an Outschool teacher. I strive to support all my students in learning and welcoming them to a safe space. I encourage creativity, pursuing interests, and a passion for lifelong learning. I enjoy reading, writing, and being outside. A hobby that has always helped me relax has been drawing or painting.
