In this one-time class, students learn about the top 5 contenders of the most painful sting in the insect world! With the help of a slideshow, we will discuss each insect including habitat, diet, and of course, the STING! We will create a sting scale together and add each insect along the way. Students will also create their own Sting Scale Poster and draw the insects. Students can print the Scale Printable (found on the classroom page after enrollment) or use a blank piece of paper and draw the scale. If time allows, students can color their poster. If you have any questions, please send me a message. If you do not see a time on the schedule that works for you, please request a different time. Thank you!

Students will learn about 1 insect defense mechanism (the sting).
