Sometimes, a learner needs a series of “extra help sessions” to solidify understandings of math concepts they are currently studying. Or, perhaps, the learner wishes to spend a fixed amount of time studying a predetermined math topic. As a certified math teacher with 36 years of experience, I can offer that additional support to the learner on an “as needed” basis. Tutoring can be offered for math concepts studied at grades 5, 6, 7, and 8. (Please note: If you only need tutoring “every once in a while”, please refer to my listing for my “One-Time” class listing of 1:1 tutoring.) An “Ongoing, Subscription Series” class will be scheduled at a time which is convenient to both the learner and me. Depending upon what kind of support is needed, class time can be used to: - Answer questions and review concepts - Practice additional problems - Teach/re-teach and build foundational understanding of concepts To set up a Subscription Series Tutoring class, please send a message with the following information: 1) The grade level and a description (or a picture) of the math concept which we will target. 2) A couple of choices of day and time (including your time zone) that are convenient to the learner. 3) How many weeks (or an approximate end date) you anticipate needing for the tutoring 4) The age of the learner A discount is offered to learners who have previously taken classes with me.
