In this fun, week-long camp students will meet for five days in a row to socialize and have fun. This camp is open to all students, including those who are autistic, have learning or social differences, are disabled, or are ESL students. This class is a great chance to get to know all kinds of different people. This class provides a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for all students This camp is designed to be a chance for students to socialize with other children, as such the class will be largely child lead and the conversations will vary based on learner interests. I will guide the conversation and provide topics and games if the children need help keeping the conversation fun and interesting. Because I feel it is most beneficial when social classes are as student lead as possible it is not practical to give a day-by-day break down for this camp as each group will look slightly different, however, each day we will play a game and have at least one discussion question. Topics that may be brought up if topics are needed include: Pets Hobbies Video games Where you want to travel to Favorite books or TV shows Do you have any siblings? Games may include: Drawing challenges* Freeze dance** Would you rather Madlibs All that will be needed for the drawing challenge is a pen and pen or pencil. * For freeze dance, students may need room to move around safely but are also welcome to dance while sitting in their chairs.** All of my classes are inclusive which means students of all abilities are welcome if your student needs any accommodation please let me know and we will work together to ensure the best possible class experience.
