During this four-week course, there will be a prior knowledge check to identify stressors in friendships. Week One: Defining your personal bubble and the layers in friendships. Week Two: Identify day-to-day stressors in friendships Week Three: Learning neutral collaborative techniques to manage day-to-day stress within friendships. Week Four: Modeling Techniques My teaching style is teacher-led instruction to build a rapport and establish expectations. Then we transition into "I do, you do, we do" instruction and modeling. Students will interact with the instructor 90% of the time through lectures and discussions. Students will interact with class peers 10% (some overlapping during lectures) of the time through verbal games such as friendship charades. All games are non-computer based and adaptive from a familiar traditional children's game. ;

Handle scissors with care as they have potential for injury.
Supply List
1- yellow paper 1- blue paper 1-orange paper 1-red paper pencil scissors-If your student has trouble using scissors you may assist them in cutting 3 circles and an arrow. Please remember when using sharp objects there is potential for injury. glue Teacher will provide weekly passage text or handouts
