Most English tests will assess for reading comprehension. Comprehension is essential to analyzing a text further. There are a variety of strategies learners can practice and implement to improve their reading comprehension abilities. Today, we'll learn about the Hashtag Strategy! In this one-time course, learners will implement a hashtag strategy to enhance reading comprehension. We will learn about this strategy while reading "All Summer in a Day" by Ray Bradbury. During the lesson, learners will learn all about the hashtag strategy. Then, we'll read the text together while practicing the hashtag strategy. Throughout the text, learners will pause to answer comprehension questions regarding the passage. If time allows, there will be assessment-based questions to practice answering.
