The iMovie video editor is a powerful tool and can be used to create beautiful, fun, engaging films. This course will build upon the beginning editor's skills and challenge them through more complex editing projects. iMovie Camp-2 explores the more advanced features of the software not covered in iMovie Camp-1. This course offers a series of projects designed to: -Engage their familiarity with the tools and resources in iMovie -Get them familiar with common editing strategies depending upon project type Class 1. Short documentary edit Class 2. Music Video edit Class 3. Educational Video edit No cameras needed. Each session we will work through a "project packet" which will include all of the video clips and other resources students will need to complete the project. All that's needed here is an updated version of iMovie on your device of choice. I will be demonstrating in iMovie installed on a desktop. I will also post special tutorials for the iPad version when needed.

Our goals in this course are to help students gain competence in editing with iMovie.
