In this class, students will: -review concepts learned in levels one and two -identify and label the parts of speech -continue practicing proper structure and punctuation of a sentence -distinguish main and dependent clauses -distinguish clauses from phrases -correctly use homophones -practice IEW stylistic techniques, including dress-ups and sentence openers -practice comma rules -identify different types of adjectives and pronouns -learn new vocabulary

Homework Offered
Homework WILL be assigned for this course. -Students will need to correctly rewrite the sentences for each lesson. -Students will be assigned some "review" lessons to complete on their own.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students are welcome to submit rewritten sentences to me for feedback. There are no letter grades given for this class.Grades Offered

Students must have access to Nearpod.com **Please note that, while not required, it is very helpful if students can annotate in class when asked to do so. Chromebooks do not allow this feature. At times, learners may need help with using a dictionary, correcting sentences, or completing the review lessons. Learners are welcome to contact me through the class page for help. Nearpod will be used occasionally to play review games. Students will be provided with a code to join the game. This is a traditional story of Robin Hood, which takes place in the Middle Ages. It includes the bow and arrow and shooting with it. At times animals and/or people are shot.
