In this 50 minute, one time class, students will receive live directions on how to make their own ice cream in a gallon zip-loc bag. In addition, students will learn the history of ice cream, it's origins, and how it has changed as well as stayed the same yummy desert that we enjoy today. Students will also observe the chemical changes that occur during the ice cream making process. The only requirement for class is that you love to eat ice cream!

heavy cream rock salt vanilla 2 (1 gallon Ziploc bags) ice sugar bowl and a spoon

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
