Welcome to our class! Class will begin with all students singing a hello song! Next, we will discuss vocabulary words! Next, we will read a short passage of text to practice reading the vocabulary words in context! Next, we will write sentences using vocabulary words! We will also draw a picture to go with the sentences! Students will enjoy reading and writing! We will close with a good bye song!

Students will improve their understanding of sight words.
