This is a one time class for preschool, Kindergarten, and first-grade students. The students will share their favorite bug books and toys. They will learn interesting facts about bugs, see real bugs, and finish class with a simple drawing.

US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this class, the students will learn about bugs, see real bugs, as well as share their own favorite bug book or toy. We will talk about the characteristics of different bugs, where they live, how they move, and what they eat. We will look at pictures and real bugs to answer questions and promote curiosity. The students will develop social and communication skills. The students will work on taking turns and waiting for their turn. The student will practice the skills of asking questions. The students will practice using adjectives to describe their book or toy.
Each student will need to bring their own bug book, toy, or picture to share about in class. They will also need paper and a pencil to draw a bug.
Some students might need help holding their books or drawing their pictures.
